The band played clubs and festivals throughout Minnesota, gaining a large following and a reputation for performing tight-knit versions of contemporary country and classic rock tunes. ![]() Neznik and Franzen first teamed up in the early 2000s, when they performed together in October Son. He has performed and recorded as a solo artist, and with various country and gospel groups, including the legendary Statesmen Quartet and Country Music Hall of Fame’s Sonny James. Gary Timbs will do a set, as will the duo Neznik and Franzen, with the trio performing a few songs together to close the show.Ītlanta born and Tennessee raised, Timbs’ “Southern-fried” piano playing and rich baritone voice have been nominated for both Grammy and Dove awards.
